Local Service
Service Year
Local Service is an integral part to the Youthlinc Service Year. All humanitarians in the Youthlinc Service year will complete 80 hours of service in their local community before their capstone trip.
PVSA: Participants who complete the Service Year requirements are eligible to receive the Presidents Volunteer Service Award.
Youthlinc Utah Local Service Directory: Interactive online directory allows users to find student-friendly, hands-on service opportunities.
Real Life
Real Life is a peer mentoring program with a life skills curriculum benefiting refugee and immigrant youth in Salt Lake area, Youthlinc Service Year students, and other community volunteers.
Real Life Interns and volunteers provide homework help and run hands-on activities at 14 afterschool sites in the Salt Lake Area.
